AutoZone Gives Back

About AutoZone’s Charitable Giving Programs

At AutoZone, our culture is about helping people find solutions. Our company founder, J.R. “Pitt” Hyde III, was committed to giving back to the community, and that philanthropic philosophy and legacy continue to be a part of who we are as a company and as AutoZoners. Just as strategic principles guide our business, our charitable efforts are intentional. Our community relations program comprises grant programs, AutoZoner matching gift programs, a volunteer program and a leadership team that leads by example through their thoughtful community involvement. Since opening our first store in 1979, we have been committed to ensuring our store teams reflect the areas they serve.
